Handel's Messiah
Capella Newcastle's performance of Messiah will take place on Saturday 23rd March 2024 in the splendour of St. George’s Church, Jesmond. We will be performing this great work accompanied by full orchestra and it should be a wonderful occasion featuring young and upcoming soloists.

Come along to St Mary’s church on Saturday 17th March. We will begin rehearsing Haydn’s Nelson Mass at 11:00 and will continue through to 5:30 for an impromptu concert.
Bach's St Matthew Passion
The Bishop’s Consort and Singers perform J.S. Bach’s deeply moving masterpiece, the St Matthew Passion, on period instruments and directed by David Stancliffe. Whatever one’s religious beliefs, the miracle of the St Matthew Passion lies in Bach’s ability to reach out beyond the Biblical story and offer empathy to anyone who has felt loss, grief, guilt, betrayal and love.
Joyous Choral Music
Durham Cathedral's Consort of Singers presents a programme of joyous choral music, presented in support of the work of the Durham Cathedral Choir Association.
Where the Stars Dance
Northern Consort, directed by Simon Lee, are joined by harpist Helena Pearson for an early-evening concert of seasonal music including John Rutter’s Dancing Day.
